Peer-to-Peer Finance Association (P2PFA)
Formed in 2011 by three peer-to-peer lending companies (RateSetter, Zopa and Funding Circle), the P2PFA is the UK trade body for P2P lenders. It aims to promote P2P finance and produce best practice operating principles for the sector.

FCA rules

The FCA's regulatory approach to crowdfunding over the internet (and similar activities) 
A March 2014 Financial Conduct Authority policy statement providing new FCA rules on crowdfunding and similar activities, including peer-to-peer lending platforms. The rules came into force on 1 April 2014.
