Mentor scheme

At the request of the current CASSL executive committee, the LSCA has identified mentors covering a variety of different career paths and sectors that CASSL members may decide to follow and can advise on a number of topics.

These topics include the following:

  • What the job really involves –whether technical explanations or an example of day to day duties at different levels/niches
  • How easy is it to specialise in the area
  • What a likely career progression may be (and other related options it may lead to)
  • Any other issues (including salary expectations & current buoyancy of job market in area, international transferability etc)

If any other topics of particular interest not otherwise covered, please contact us and we’ll  endeavour to see if we can find an additional mentor for that topic

All the following are members of the LSCA Main Committee (and thus well known to the LSCA as knowledgeable & reputable) but all have full time jobs, thus in the first instance please contact by email  (with a brief description of your own background & situation) to either request an answer to simple queries by email,  or else exchange contacts numbers & set up a suitable time to speak (or even meet, time allowing).

NB this is purely an advisory service offered personally and not intended as a short cut to finding employment nor is any liability due to the ICAEW, LSCA or Mentors (Individually or their Employer)
